What is a fair price for a TC40 4wd w/ loader. It has 175 hrs on it.

If it is 4WD with 12X12 tranny, then the unit should be worth about $15K to $16.5K The deluxe models are worth a little more and with supersteer, even more. One that has been in a shed is worth more than one that has lived outside. I would check the maintenance records. In the end it comes down to the price that makes both you and the seller happy.

This is my best guess, but prices vary around the country. ....

15000 to 16500 would be a good deal in MICHIGAN with the hours. Around here they are about 17-18k plus a little more for hydro and little more for s. steer. That would be one in nice shape. ....

I am sure that prices vary, but eight months ago, I bought a brand new TC45, 12X12, 16LA FEL with ATI for right at $20K. I was figuring about 1500 less for the TC40 and about another 15% off for for depreciation for the 175 hours. ....
